Welcome to Co-Pilot Stage 4: Rapid Reporting. In this final stage, we will guide you through the process of generating comprehensive LCA reports using the Emvide platform. These reports will provide actionable insights into your product’s environmental impact, helping you identify key areas for improvement.
In this video, you will learn how to:
Generate LCA reports in compliance with ISO 14040/44 standards.
Access and review the generated reports.
Utilise the reporting options to gain insights and make informed decisions.
Generating Reports:
From the home screen, navigate to your product list and select the completed analysis for your product, such as the Trailmaster 5000.
Click on the "Generate Report" button. The Emvide platform will develop your LCA report according to ISO 14040/44 standards. This process takes a few minutes.
Receiving the Report:
Once the report is generated, you will receive an email notification with the LCA report attached. The email will include four files: two in Word format and two in PDF format, containing the LCA document and a supporting appendix.
These files can be opened and reviewed directly from your email or downloaded from the Emvide platform.
Reviewing the Reports:
LCA Report: Open the main LCA report in PDF format. This document includes:
Executive Summary: A top-level overview of the LCA results.
Content Links: Hyperlinks to different sections of the report.
Product Description: Detailed information about the product and its lifecycle.
System Boundary: Explanation of the system boundaries used in the analysis.
Impact Categories: Breakdown of different environmental impacts.
Activity Data: Data on the processes and resources used.
Contribution Analysis: Summary of the contributions to the overall environmental impact.
Conclusions and Recommendations: AI-generated suggestions for reducing embodied CO2 and other environmental factors.
Appendix: Open the supporting appendix in PDF format. This document contains:
Detailed Notes: Information on the assumptions and inputs used at each stage of the LCA.
Component Breakdown: In-depth details on how components like the wheel were decomposed and assessed.
Process Steps: Detailed descriptions of the processes involved in manufacturing and assembling the product.
Using the Reports:
Editing: If needed, you can open the Word versions of the reports to make any edits or customisations.
Analytics Dashboard: Use the Emvide platform’s analytics dashboard to gain a high-level view of the most significant emissions processes and resources. This dashboard allows you to share insights online.
Data Export: Download the data in JSON or CSV formats for further analysis. This includes detailed indicators for all resources and processes involved.
By completing this stage, you have successfully generated and reviewed comprehensive LCA reports. These reports are essential for understanding your product’s environmental impact and for making informed decisions to improve sustainability.
