Navigating Your Product Portfolio in Emvide

Your product portfolio is the central repository where you manage all the details related to your products. This guide will help you navigate through the portfolio functionalities and make the most out of Emvide's features.

Accessing Your Product Portfolio

To view your product portfolio:

  • Select ‘Products’ from the menu on the left-hand side.

  • You will see a detailed list of all the products you have added to Emvide.

Managing Your Portfolio

  • View Options: Switch between list view and card view to see your products in the format that best suits your needs.

  • Search and Filter: Quickly find specific products using the search function or filter your view by various criteria such as date or user involvement.

Product Visibility and Sharing

  • Privacy Settings: Manage who can see and edit your products. You can set products to be private to you, available to your organisation, or public within the Emvide community.

  • Collaboration Features: Share your product information with colleagues or across the platform to enhance collaborative opportunities.

Adding and Editing Products

  • Create New Products: Easily add new products to your portfolio by clicking the ‘Create New Product’ button. Here you can:

    • Set visibility options (public or private).

    • Enter product details such as name, description, and business goals.

    • Upload an image URL to visually represent your product.

  • Edit Existing Products: Select any product to update or refine product details. You can change settings, add information, or adjust your product’s goals as your project evolves.

Interactive Features

  • Drag-and-Drop Functionality: When creating or editing products, utilise the drag-and-drop features on the canvas to arrange components of your product lifecycle assessment (LCA).

  • Options Menu: Access additional functionalities via the three dots on any product card, including further customisation and settings adjustments.

The Product Portfolio section of Emvide is designed to streamline how you manage, share, and collaborate on your environmental impact assessments. By familiarising yourself with these tools, you can efficiently organise and enhance your sustainability projects.
