Education for a More Sustainable Future

At Riskoa, we are deeply committed to supporting the next generation of sustainability leaders. Through our Emvide Educational Licences, we aim to empower academic institutions and research organisations to integrate advanced LCA tools into their curriculum and research projects. Our goal is to make it easier for students and educators to access cutting-edge technology, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainability and its impact on our world.

Purpose and Scope:

The Emvide Educational License is designed specifically for non-commercial, educational purposes. This license provides discounted access to Emvide's powerful LCA tools, enabling students, educators, and researchers to conduct lifecycle assessments with the same rigor and reliability as industry professionals. Whether you are teaching a course, conducting research, or guiding a thesis project, Emvide offers the resources you need to achieve your sustainability goals.

Stipulations for Use

The Emvide Educational License comes with specific stipulations to ensure it is used appropriately:

  • Non-Commercial Use: The educational license must be used solely for academic, research, or non-profit purposes. Any work that generates profit or is conducted on behalf of a commercial entity must be done using a commercial Emvide license.

  • Academic Integrity: The license should be used in a manner that promotes learning, academic growth, and research development. It should not be shared with unauthorized users or used to perform work for organisations outside the academic institution.

  • Scope Limitations: The license is tailored for educational projects, including classroom instruction, student projects, and academic research. It is not intended for full-scale commercial product assessments.

Eligible Organisations

To qualify for an Emvide Educational Licence, an organisation must meet the following criteria:

  • Accredited Educational Institutions: Universities, colleges, and other institutions offering accredited degrees or certifications.

  • Non-Profit Research Organisations: Organisations focused on research that do not engage in commercial activities.

  • Government-Funded Education Programmes: Programmes that receive government funding for educational purposes.

  • Student Groups and Clubs: Recognised student organisations that focus on sustainability, environmental studies, or related fields.

Each organisation will be required to provide verification of their educational or non-profit status before accessing the educational licence.

Top-Up Credits

If users exhaust their allocated credits during their subscription period, they have the option to purchase top-up credit packs. These credit packs are priced according to the tier of the subscription. Top-up credits ensure that users can continue their LCA work without interruption, providing flexibility and scalability to meet varying project demands. Additionally, you can upgrade to a higher subscription band; this has many benefits of providing more credits, users and also reduces your price per credit. See the table below for pricing for top up credits.
