Introduction

Welcome to Co-Pilot Stage 2: AI-Powered LCA. In this stage, you will learn how to use Emvide's advanced AI algorithms to process your prepared data and generate preliminary LCA results quickly and efficiently. This step leverages the power of AI to automate and expedite the lifecycle assessment process.

In this video, you will learn how to:

  • Download and review the generated CSV file.

  • Input product details into the Emvide platform.

  • Upload the CSV file to initiate the AI processing.

  • Understand the importance of detailed input for accurate reporting.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Downloading the Generated CSV:

    • After a few minutes, check your download section for the generated CSV file. This file contains the processed data for your product, in this case, the Trailmaster 5000 mountain bike.

    • Open the CSV file to review the data. You will see that Emvide has organised all materials and process steps based on the initial input, along with geographical and decomposition details for accurate environmental indicators.

  2. Inputting Product Details:

    • Return to the Emvide platform and start by creating a new product entry.

    • Product Name and Description: Copy and paste the product name and description from your documents. The product description is crucial as it drives the automated reporting feature and should include relevant business goals and product lifetime information.

    • Additional Information: Include any URLs or additional data that can enhance the reporting, such as images or detailed descriptions.

  3. Choosing Methodologies (Optional):

    • If you are an advanced LCA expert, you can select specific methodologies and system models from the environmental databases available in Emvide. For beginners, sticking with the standard method is recommended.

  4. Uploading the CSV File:

    • Click on "Upload CSV" and navigate to the downloaded CSV file for the Trailmaster 5000.

    • Upload the CSV file. Once successfully uploaded, click "Save" to initiate the AI processing.

    • The system will start the Co-Pilot process, and you will see the new product listed under your products with the status "preparing."

  5. AI Processing and Notifications:

    • The AI processing will take a few minutes. You will receive an email notification at the system user email once the processing is complete.

    • During this time, you can monitor the status from the main screen under the products section.

Next Steps:

Once the AI processing is complete, you are ready to move on to Co-Pilot Stage 3: Validate Assumptions. In the next stage, you will review the AI-generated results and confirm that the assumptions made are appropriate based on your input data.

This page provides a comprehensive guide to using Emvide's AI-powered LCA, highlighting the importance of detailed input and explaining the steps required to generate preliminary LCA results. Proper use of the AI capabilities will ensure efficient and accurate lifecycle assessments.
